Binds on Pickup (BoP), in game as Binds on Pickup, refers to an item that becomes bound to the player when the item is:
- Looted from a corpse, resource or container
- Received as a mission reward
- Purchased from a vendor
- Crafted by a companion
A majority of items that are premium quality or higher tend to be Bind on Pickup. The main exclusions from this category are crafting resources and premium quality items looted from corpses in the open world.
